TPO53 Integrated Writing
In the contemporary society, people start to raise their awarenesses of unhealthy products such as cigarettes and certain types of food.（综合写作的布景信息只管不要自己去编写。Many countries are imposing high taxes on cigarette smokers and considering about the necessity to have similar taxes on unhealthy foods. ） The passage claims that imposing taxes on those goods bring a great number of advantages; conversely, the lecture challenges all the points with reasons supported.

Firstly, the reading suggests that a great portion of the mass would be less likely to buy the unhealthy products because of the taxes, leading to a healthier human body and society. However, the listening part argues that the taxes don’t necessarily lead to healthy behaviors. For example,（总结句一定要提早到听力内容第一句话来说清楚） people will be tend to buy those cheaper cigarettes with lower quality, which is even more harmful to the society and human body （since they typically contain even more harmful substances细节遗漏）. Also, people would still buy those unhealthy food even though they are expensive, which will result in less money to spend on the healthy food. （细节遗漏Their health cannot benefit from it.）

Secondly, the article proposes that the tax revenues can be used to cover the medical costs（这句话是阅读的细节而不是概括，倡议替换成 if financially fair ）. On the contrary, the professor holds the different view that the tax policy is not fair to the different income groups. The tax might be too much for the low earners, which means there will be a great burden for those low-income groups (细节遗漏compared with higher earning person）. As a result, it is a fact that this kind of taxes is not economically fair for everyone.

Lastly, the passage points that the government can use the tax profits to build more public infrastructures. Nonetheless, the lecturer contradicts that the governor would overly depend on the tax revenues in this way. Consequently, the government would stop banning people to smoke in public area simply because they want the tax money. As we can tell, there are certainly disadvantages in this way（最初的总结语句没有需要）.
